John Woods

John is a master relationship builder who knows that every project has challenging moments and it is the strength of the relationships that keep opportunities alive. John has honed this important skill through a variety of lifetime experiences in the private and public sectors, ranging from a long-time city alderman and acting mayor to a project developer of some of the country’s most important energy opportunities. John connects with everyone at a personal level, and these relationships last well beyond the delivery of the results.

Jane Lowrie

In addition to her role as CFO of IME, Jane Lowrie is the President of Tribute Resources Inc. (“Tribute”), a publicly traded energy and oil and gas production company and 50% owner of IME. She has been president of Tribute since 2003 and has been a director of Tribute since its inception in 1997. She has been front and centre in leading Tribute Resources Inc. through its highest growth phase thus far and has been instrumental in building Tribute’s asset base. Ms. Lowrie is a second generation oil and gas producer in Ontario, and has been involved in oil and gas exploration and production in Ontario for over 30 years. Ms. Lowrie is a past President of the Ontario Petroleum Institute (1994-95), and has been a member for over 25 years. Following her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, Ms. Lowrie obtained an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Chris Peters

Chris keeps projects on schedule and on budget while removing permitting and contract risk. He uses an analytical and practical approach in advancing the client’s energy initiatives by ensuring no details get overlooked. Chris has a multidisciplinary background which includes Project Finance, Economics, Surveying, GIS and Environmental Permitting.

Mark Savory

An accomplished and self-motivated energy/infrastructure professional engineer with over 30 years’ experience in power system and power plant management, operations, maintenance, asset management and design. Mr. Savory has extensive experience in technical due diligence investigations, root cause analysis, project management, business development and contract management. Mr. Savory has successfully completed an extensive portfolio of energy and infrastructure projects throughout his career.

Kris MacLellan

Kris sees the future of the energy industry being guided by the nexus of economic development and consumer cost implications in the overall context of a transition to the low-carbon economy. He identifies how outside players can forge new roles in the constantly changing energy landscape, with a particular attention to the advantages of municipal involvement. His tenacity is complemented with skills in communications, community-based natural resource management and understanding the biophysical and sociopolitical dimensions of environmental issues.

Peter Budd

Peter Budd is a business advisor to IME. Mr. Budd’s has an extensive legal background in the natural gas and electricity sectors across Canada, working now in the renewable energy development business. Mr. Budd was elected partner at Bennett Jones and CMS Cameron McKenna in London UK. He also served as a member of the Direct Purchase Committee and a director of the Ontario Natural Gas Association, counsel to the Canadian Independent Gas Marketing Association, Chair of the Gas Management Income Fund, elected as the inaugural Chair of the Ontario Energy Association, received Ontario Cabinet appointments to the Electricity Market Design Committee, the Independent Electricity Market Operator, and the Co-Chair to Ontario’s Electricity Conservation and Supply Task Force.

Jennifer Lewis

In addition to her work with IME, Jennifer Lewis has been the Chief Financial Officer of Tribute since 2009, where she assumes responsibilities for assessing renewable energy business opportunities and oil and gas acquisition opportunities in addition to being responsible for compliance reporting including the preparation of the financial statements and MD&A for the publicly traded entity. A graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Ms. Lewis worked at Deloitte and Touche LLP where she obtained her Chartered Accountant designation. She was involved in the tax group and in the financial advisory group gaining valuable experience in business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting, financial modeling and business financings.
